Este curso constituye el nivel más básico (Nivel 1) e imprescindible de la pirámide formativa europea. Así pues, tras superar el curso y obtener el certificado oficial A1/A3 podrás realizar otros cursos oficiales de niveles más avanzados (como por ejemplo, el curso para obtener el certificado de competencia de piloto a distancia A2 de la categoría abierta (Nivel 2) y/o el curso para la obtención del certificado de conocimientos teóricos de piloto a distancia STS de la categoría específica (Nivel 3), con los cuales tendrás la posibilidad de poder volar en más escenarios.

Tanto el curso de formación en línea de conocimientos teóricos, como el examen en línea  son competencia de AESA (Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Aérea), es decir, se realizan en su plataforma.

  Requisitos

La edad mínima para los pilotos a distancia que quieran realizar operaciones en categoría «abierta» está comprendida entre 12  (cuando operen en A1 con UAS< 250 gr) y 14 años (cuando operen en A1 con UAS C1; en A2 o A3 con UAS C2; en A3 con UAS C3 o C4, Legacy o de construcción privada).

Sin embargo NO se exige ninguna edad mínima para los pilotos a distancia cuando:

• Operen en subcategoría A1 con UAS de clase C0 que sea un juguete;
• Operen UAS de construcción privada con MTOM inferior a 250 g;
• Operen bajo la supervisión directa de un piloto a distancia con edad de 16 años o superior y con las competencias adecuadas según la categoría de operación.

Características del curso

• Modalidad 100% online.  Podrás estudiar a tu ritmo, desde donde quieras.
• Se realiza en la plataforma formativa de AESA. Para ello, en primer lugar, es necesario registrarse en su sede electrónica.
• Una vez matriculado dispones de un mes para estudiar las 9 materias que componen el curso de piloto de drones y, finalmente, hacer el examen online de conocimientos teóricos (test de 40 preguntas de opción múltiple), de tal manera que, si obtienes más del 75% de aciertos, consigues el título.

¿Es obligatorio disponer de este certificado?

Sí, para todo aquel que tenga un dron de más de 250 gramos, o disponga de sensor capaz de capturar datos personales y no se considere juguete, independientemente de si su uso es recreativo o profesional.

¿Qué drones podré pilotar?

Podrás volar drones de la clase C0 hasta la C1 en las condiciones de la subcategoría A1, y drones de la clase C3 y C4, de hasta 25 Kg de masa máxima al despegue en las condiciones de la subcategoría A3.
